The CSRTs are presently on-going, but specific hearings have resulted in a variety of outcomes. Many detainees are still being detained, others have been released to return to their homeland, and still others have been classified and cleared for release but remain at Guantanamo Bay and in U.S. custody because their home countries cannot assure their safety.

Famous quotes containing the word results:

... dependence upon material possessions inevitably results in the destruction of human character.
    Agnes E. Meyer (1887–1970)

Being a parent is unlike any previous job—the results of any one action are not clearly visible for a long time, if at all.
—Anonymous Mother. As quoted in Between Generations by Ellen Galinsky, ch. 2 (1981)

Pain itself can be pleasurable accidentally in so far as it is accompanied by wonder, as in stage-plays; or in so far as it recalls a beloved object to one’s memory, and makes one feel one’s love for the thing, whose absence gives us pain. Consequently, since love is pleasant, both pain and whatever else results from love, in so far as they remind us of our love, are pleasant.
    Thomas Aquinas (c. 1225–1274)
