- In 2009, City of Hope was listed among eight preferred cancer hospitals in the May/June issue of AARP Magazine, which published the results of a survey of doctors from throughout the United States conducted by Consumers' Checkbook, a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit health care provider rating service.
