Since the definition of the city car/urban car is subjective makers may market vehicles as "urban cars" which do not fit into the normal expectations of size, performance and styling, for example Nissan in the United Kingdom markets its SUV styled Qashqai as the "ultimate urban car". Rather than highlight the nimbleness in traffic and ease to park of traditional urban cars Nissan's marketing instead appeals to the "Chelsea tractor" mentality and urban anxiety.
