Cincinnati Riots of 2001 - Wrongful Death Suit

Wrongful Death Suit

The case was originally filed a month after Timothy Thomas' death by his mother in 2001, Angela Leisure. The trial did not begin until January, 2003. This trial took place in a federal court, unlike the local court of the criminal case, presided by U.S. District Court Judge S. Arthur Spiegel.

Famous quotes containing the words death and/or suit:

Death is not natural for a state as it is for a human being, for whom death is not only necessary, but frequently even desirable.
    Marcus Tullius Cicero (106–43 B.C.)

Other men wear white suits in summer and it doesn’t seem to bother them. But my white suit seems to be a little whiter than theirs. I think also that it may have something written on the back of it, although I can’t find it when I take the suit off.
    Robert Benchley (1889–1945)
