This film is one of two released in 1975 to cast Dharmendra and Amitabh together, the other being Sholay. Apart from these, Ram Balram was the only other film that the two starred in together, if one does not count Dharmendra's guest appearances in Andha Kanoon and Naseeb, and Amitabh's cameo in Guddi and Dost.

Famous quotes containing the words degrees of, degrees and/or separation:
“Gradually we come to admit that Shakespeare understands a greater extent and variety of human life than Dante; but that Dante understands deeper degrees of degradation and higher degrees of exaltation.”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
“So that the life of a writer, whatever he might fancy to the contrary, was not so much a state of composition, as a state of warfare; and his probation in it, precisely that of any other man militant upon earth, both depending alike, not half so much upon the degrees of his WITas his RESISTANCE.”
—Laurence Sterne (17131768)
“Like sleep disturbances, some worries at separation can be expected in the second year. If you accept this, then you will avoid reacting to this anxiety as if its your fault. A mother who feels guilty will appear anxious to the child, as if to affirm the childs anxiety. By contrast, a parent who understands that separation anxiety is normal is more likely to react in a way that soothes and reassures the child.”
—Cathy Rindner Tempelsman (20th century)
