Chori Chori Chupke Chupke

Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is a 2001 Hindi movie directed by the successful pair Abbas-Mustan. It stars Preity Zinta, Salman Khan and Rani Mukerji . Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is probably the first Bollywood movie to handle the taboo issue of surrogate childbirth.

Some of the scenes in the film have been borrowed from Pretty Woman (1990), and the storyline is similar to Doosri Dulhan by Lekh Tandon.

In 2001, the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) seized prints of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, after it was discovered the movie was funded by the Mumbai underworld, which has resulted in a well publicised controversy known as The Bharat Shah Case.
