Nolan is currently co-producing a reinvention of Superman, called Man of Steel. Although Zack Snyder is directing, Nolan will have significant creative input in the process.
On 13 June 2012, Nolan confirmed that he and Emma Thomas would executive produce Wally Pfister's directorial debut, Transcendence. Jack Paglen wrote the screenplay, which has been described as a present-day science fiction film, with a fairly big concept.
