Kattan married model Sunshine Tutt on June 28, 2008, in Oakhurst, California, after proposing to her on Christmas Eve 2006. The couple separated on August 10, 2008, and were officially divorced in February 2009. In mid-April, 2012, one thousand copies of a book purportedly written by Kattan called Peepers, a canticle were placed in bookstores across the West Coast.
