Film Rights
MGM/United Artists released the original Child's Play in 1988, the rights to a sequel were bought in 1990 by Universal Studios, and then it would continue with Child's Play 3: Look Who's Stalking, and Child's Play 4: The Bride of Chucky, until the rights to Child's Play 5: Seed of Chucky, were bought by Rogue Pictures.
