The Chennai Super Kings are one of the nine teams of the Indian Premier League. They are the most successful and consistent team in IPL history. Their captain is the current Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The franchise is currently owned by India Cements, who paid $91 million to acquire the rights to the franchise for 10 years in 2008. B. Chandrasekhar is the Chief Selector. To gather more support from local fans, actor Vijay and actress Nayantara were also appointed as ambassadors, but both have been subsequently removed.

... in America ... children are instructed in the virtues of the system they live under, as though history had achieved a happy ending in American civics.
    Mary McCarthy (1912–1989)

The reverence for the Scriptures is an element of civilization, for thus has the history of the world been preserved, and is preserved.
