Transportation
The base is 8 km (5.0 mi) south of the Trans-Canada Highway on PR 340. There are two heliports associated with the base. Shilo Heliport is located on the base while Shilo (Flewin Field) (TC LID: CKN9), with a 66 ft × 66 ft (20 m × 20 m) pad, is located 1.1 NM (2.0 km; 1.3 mi) south.
