Emissions from cement works are determined both by continuous and discontinuous measuring methods, which are described in corresponding national guidelines and standards. Continuous measurement is primarily used for dust, NO_x and SO₂, while the remaining parameters relevant pursuant to ambient pollution legislation are usually determined discontinuously by individual measurements.
