Cat Food (song)

Cat Food/Groon is a single by the band King Crimson, released in 1970. Track 1, "Cat Food," was taken from the album In the Wake of Poseidon and edited by about two minutes for its single release. It is in the unusual 19/8 time signature. The B-side "Groon" was largely improvised by band leader Robert Fripp and Michael and Peter Giles. CD editions of the Poseidon album from 2004 onwards have included both as bonus tracks.

Famous quotes containing the words cat and/or food:

The black cat does not die. Those same books, if I am not mistaken, teach that the black cat is deathless. Deathless as evil. It is the origin of the common superstition of the cat with nine lives.

Now John wore clothing of camel’s hair with a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
