—William Gibson (b. 1948)
“I am the center of the world, but the control panel seems to be somewhere else.”
—Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
“The Card Catalogue: See also leads into the wilderness.”
—Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

My intention is not to replace one set of general rules by another such set: my intention is rather to convince the reader that all methodologies, even the most obvious ones, have their limits.”
—Paul Feyerabend (19241994)
