Later Life
Since leaving politics Wildman has worked as a consultant. He served as the chair of the Board of Governors of Algoma University. Wildman is also a member of the board of directors of the Sault Ste. Marie and District Group Health Centre. His son Jody Wildman was a federal NDP candidate in 1997 and was subsequently elected mayor of St. Joseph.
