Plans
Chiltern Railways intends to include the Bicester Town - Oxford section of the line in its Project Evergreen 3, by building a junction with the Chiltern Main Line at Bicester, doubling and upgrading the track between Bicester and Oxford Road and opening a new station at Water Eaton Parkway. In the longer term the East West Rail Link would use the Bletchley - Oxford section and possibly create new stations at Winslow and Newton Longville.
