Bryan Lee Cranston (born March 7, 1956) is an American actor, voice actor, writer, and director. He is best known for his roles as Hal in the Fox sitcom Malcolm in the Middle and Walter White in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad. Cranston won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series three consecutive times for Breaking Bad. Bryan Cranston is also known for his recent film appearances including supporting roles in Argo, John Carter, Total Recall, and Drive.
