British Amateur Rugby League Association - Service Areas

Service Areas

BARLA divides itself into service areas which are defined by local authority or county sports partnership boundaries depending on their geographical location. Each service area is managed by a steering group at which all rugby league agencies in the area and other appropriate partners are represented.

Famous quotes containing the words service and/or areas:

I like the silent church before the service begins, better than any preaching. How far off, how cool, how chaste the persons look, begirt each one with a precinct or sanctuary!
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

The point is, that the function of the novel seems to be changing; it has become an outpost of journalism; we read novels for information about areas of life we don’t know—Nigeria, South Africa, the American army, a coal-mining village, coteries in Chelsea, etc. We read to find out what is going on. One novel in five hundred or a thousand has the quality a novel should have to make it a novel—the quality of philosophy.
    Doris Lessing (b. 1919)
