The Black Hills Run is a route from Deadwood, South Dakota to Custer State Park, South Dakota, across the Black Hills, favored by motorcycle riders. It reached the height of its popularity between 1939 and 1941. The Sturgis S.D. motorcycle rally attracts hordes of motorcycle enthusiasts to the Black Hills region. The roads can become extremely crowded with "bikers" during early August every year.

    Soon,
Light from a small intense lopsided moon

    Earth is bursting into song,
And the singers are the chaps
