Neighbourhoods
Bhoom is divided between two areas, Kasba and Peth by the Banganga river. Kasba is a more traditional village type area with most of the people involved in the farming occupation. Peth is more cosmopolitan where people of various professions live together. Bhoom has further grown in the more white collar Samarth Nagar and new colonies near the college. Banganga and Ramganga dams provide water for drinking. Arsoli is one village of Bhoom taluka.
The neighbourhoods of Bhoom include Gandhi Chowk, Sambhaji Chowk, Maskar-Shendge Galli, Wadar Galli, Bagwan Galli, Pardhi Pedhi, Ramhari Nagar, Kusum Nagar Bhim Nagar, and Shivaji Nagar. S.P. College is the only college in Bhoom for higher education. A famous highschool in bhoom is “ravindra highschool bhoom.” The school is near to bus~stand.
