Bexley North Railway Station - History

History

Bexley North railway station opened in 1931 as part of the East Hills railway line between Tempe and East Hills. Bexley North station had been double track and electrified since its opening until 2000 when the Wolli Creek to Kingsgrove quadruplication was completed. The station now has an island platform serving the 'Up and Down East Hills Local' tracks, and an express track on either side, the 'Up and Down East Hills Main' lines.
