Banana Yoshimoto (よしもと ばなな, Yoshimoto Banana?) (born July 24, 1964,) is the pen name of Japanese writer Mahoko Yoshimoto (吉本 真秀子 Yoshimoto Mahoko). She writes her name in hiragana.
