The Baluchistan Agency (or Balochistan or Baloochistan) was one of the agencies of British India.
This agency consisted of three princely states, Kalat and its two feudatory states Las Bela and Kharan. The Government of India maintained its relations with the states through its political agent in Kalat.
The Agency Territories, with an area of 44,345 square miles (208.262 km2), were areas which had, from time to time, been acquired by lease or otherwise brought under control and thus been placed directly under British officers, unlike the states themselves.
