Axim

Axim is a town and kingdom on the coast of Akanland. It is the capital of Nzema East Municipal, a district in Western Region. Axim lies 64 kilometers west of the port city of Takoradi, south of the highway leading to the Ivorian border, in Western Region to the west of Cape Three Points. Axim has a population of 27,250 people.
