Greg Gagne 2 December 13, 1988 Chicago, IL (SuperClash III) Match for the vacant title. Wins via countout. Garvin had left for the World Wrestling Federation and would not job for Gagne.
Title Retired October 1989 Gagne retired from in-ring competition.
