Avital Ronell

Avital Ronell (born 15 April 1952) is a Professor of philosophy, German, French, English and comparative literature at New York University, where she co-directs the Research in Trauma and Violence project. She is also Professor of Philosophy at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee. Avital Ronell has written about the authorship and authority of the stupid, operator, literary critic, femme fatale, and philosopher.
