Ararat Center For Strategic Research - Role

Role

The ARARAT Center positions itself as a home-grown, politically unaffiliated academic research center working to leave a solid footprint on the path to establishing an independent national school of strategic thought, as its focal long-term objective.

The Center aims primarily at:

  1. analyzing the international political developments affecting Armenia's interests, thus
  2. identifying the national security threats and needs, and
  3. making its analyses of use to the decision makers as well as the Armenian public at large.

Famous quotes containing the word role:

The role of the stepmother is the most difficult of all, because you can’t ever just be. You’re constantly being tested—by the children, the neighbors, your husband, the relatives, old friends who knew the children’s parents in their first marriage, and by yourself.
—Anonymous Stepparent. Making It as a Stepparent, by Claire Berman, introduction (1980, repr. 1986)

Given that external reality is a fiction, the writer’s role is almost superfluous. He does not need to invent the fiction because it is already there.
    —J.G. (James Graham)

Recent studies that have investigated maternal satisfaction have found this to be a better prediction of mother-child interaction than work status alone. More important for the overall quality of interaction with their children than simply whether the mother works or not, these studies suggest, is how satisfied the mother is with her role as worker or homemaker. Satisfied women are consistently more warm, involved, playful, stimulating and effective with their children than unsatisfied women.
