In 2008, the team, led by top recruits Jeremy Gallon and Larvez 'Poohbear' Mars, went 10-3, losing to national powerhouse South Panola in Mississippi on national TV on ESPN U. They stomped on the local rivals in the season and made it to the third round of the playoffs where a loss to Seminole High School (who ended up winning the state title) ended their season.
