2007
In 2007 the team won the 6A-4 District Championship by beating East Ridge High School 48 - 16. The 2007 Regional 6A playoffs began as expected with Apopka defeating Timber Creek High School 30-22. Apopka then advanced to take on bitter Metro Conference rival Edgewater in one of the most hyped showdowns of the season. Apopka lost in the regular season 40-33, but this time prevailed by the count of 36-7. Apopka reached the 6A Region 1 final for the first time since 2001, and advanced to the State Semifinals with a 43-0 victory over Spruce Creek High School. However, their season ended with a 21-18 loss to Boone High School at Boone's Norton Baker Field.
