Angela (comics) - Fictional Character Biography

Fictional Character Biography

In the comics, Angela is an angel who acts opposite Spawn as a bounty hunter working under the auspices of Heaven. She attempted to kill Spawn upon their first meeting, but he managed to defeat her despite her significantly greater experience. When he later came to her aid during her trial in Heaven- ironically, he was there to testify that she had permission to attempt to kill him; when they were temporarily trapped in a pocket dimension, Spawn's instinctive restructing of reality to allow them to return erased Angela's 'permit' to use her weapons against him-, they started a romantic relationship while returning to Earth. Angela was killed during the battle with Malebolgia in Spawn #100.

Famous quotes containing the words fictional, character and/or biography:

It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is, but the world as it will be.... This, in turn, means that our statesmen, our businessmen, our everyman must take on a science fictional way of thinking.
    Isaac Asimov (1920–1992)

Eccentricity: strength of character doubling back on itself.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

As we approached the log house,... the projecting ends of the logs lapping over each other irregularly several feet at the corners gave it a very rich and picturesque look, far removed from the meanness of weather-boards. It was a very spacious, low building, about eighty feet long, with many large apartments ... a style of architecture not described by Vitruvius, I suspect, though possibly hinted at in the biography of Orpheus.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
