Constituency Issues
Slaughter is an outspoken critic of the Conservative-dominated Hammersmith and Fulham Council, often opposing its policies. He was also a vocal critic of the West London Free School co-founded in 2011 by journalist Toby Young, arguing that the school "had no proven business case", that "local people are against the plans", and stating that the school was "ousting 22 charities and a school for severely disabled children in its rush to open".
