International Career

Boothy represented England International for the England Under 21's, winning three caps, scoring twice for the England Under 21s in 1995 and also represented the Football League during his first spell at Town.

He made his debut for the England Under 21's in their 2–1 win over Austria under-21's on 14 November 1995.
