Alta Loma Road is the celebrity-filled cul-de-sac that runs a mere one block. It is off the Sunset Strip in the city of West Hollywood. It is one block west of La Cienega Blvd. and is between Holloway Drive and Sunset Boulevard.
The street originally ran directly through from Holloway Drive to Sunset Boulevard but was changed to a cul-de-sac after many of the celebritites on the street voiced their concerns about traffic from the Sunset Strip.
The street is best known for Sunset Marquis Hotel and the hotel's bar, the Whisky Bar. The exclusive condominiums on the block include The Park Wellington and The Empire West.
