Alhambra Elementary School District provides education for more than 14,000 students in the Phoenix and Glendale areas of Arizona. Alhambra has 15 schools. These schools educate students from kindergarten to eighth grade.
Alhambra Elementary School District's Superintendent is Dr. Jim Rice. Jim Rice received Arizona Superintendent of the year in 2006. He also has received ASU College of Education Hall of Fame Award (2005), Superintendent's Contributions to Public Education (2004), and Distinguished Administrator of the Year (2002).
