Al Kaprielian - Biography

Biography

Kaprielian, born July 7, 1961, is a native of Natick, Massachusetts, and graduated from Lyndon State College, Lyndonville, Vermont. He currently resides in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Kaprielian was awarded "Best Weather Forecaster" in the Nashua Telegraph's 2004 Reader's Choice Awards. He has also been voted Best Media Personality and Best Weatherperson in New Hampshire Magazine's The Very Best of New Hampshire Reader Choice Awards. Kaprielian has been interviewed by both WCVB-TV Channel 5's "Chronicle" (Boston) and WKXL radio in Concord, New Hampshire. Despite his credentials, Kaprielian does not hold a seal of approval from either the National Weather Association or the American Meteorological Society, possibly due to the incorporation of audition tapes being judged by other meteorologists into the approval process, which would seem to discourage antics such as those that Kaprielian uses.

On July 9, 2010, Kaprielian was the subject of a parody music video created by Haclyon the Lusus Naturae and animated by Manchester, New Hampshire cartoonist, Yu-San Moon. The parody video asserted that Kaprielian was really part of the conspiracy theory surrounding Reptilians.

Famous quotes containing the word biography:

Had Dr. Johnson written his own life, in conformity with the opinion which he has given, that every man’s life may be best written by himself; had he employed in the preservation of his own history, that clearness of narration and elegance of language in which he has embalmed so many eminent persons, the world would probably have had the most perfect example of biography that was ever exhibited.
    James Boswell (1740–95)

Just how difficult it is to write biography can be reckoned by anybody who sits down and considers just how many people know the real truth about his or her love affairs.
Rebecca West [Cicily Isabel Fairfield] (1892–1983)

The death of Irving, which at any other time would have attracted universal attention, having occurred while these things were transpiring, went almost unobserved. I shall have to read of it in the biography of authors.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
