The Adobe RGB color space is an RGB color space developed by Adobe Systems in 1998. It was designed to encompass most of the colors achievable on CMYK color printers, but by using RGB primary colors on a device such as the computer display. The Adobe RGB color space encompasses roughly 50% of the visible colors specified by the Lab color space, improving upon the gamut of the sRGB color space primarily in cyan-greens.

Famous quotes containing the words color and/or space:
“The great God endows His children variously. To some he gives intellectand they move the earth. To some he allots heartand the beating pulse of humanity is theirs. But to some He gives only a soul, without intelligenceand these, who never grow up, but remain always His children, are Gods fools, kindly, elemental, simple, as if from His palette the Artist of all had taken one color instead of many.”
—Mary Roberts Rinehart (18761958)
“Stars scribble on our eyes the frosty sagas,
The gleaming cantos of unvanquished space . . .”
—Hart Crane (18991932)
