Addison-Wesley is best known for its textbooks and computer literature and is an imprint of Pearson PLC, a global publishing and education company and owner of the Financial Times. As well as publishing books, Addison-Wesley also distributed its technical titles through the Safari Books Online e-reference service. Addison-Wesley's majority of sales derive from the United States (57%) and Europe (23%).
