Ace Combat Advance is a video game in the Ace Combat series. It is the first in the series for a handheld gaming system. Unlike other flight simulators, it's a top-down shooter similar to Strike series, but using fighter jets. It has been criticized for awkward controls, lack of appeal, difficulty and very poor graphics. Unlike other Ace Combat games, a Japanese release for the title was absent.
Famous quotes containing the words ace, combat and/or advance:
“I do not object to Gladstones always having the ace of trumps up his sleeve, but only to his pretence that God had put it there.”
—Henry Labouchere (18311912)
“The combat ended for want of combatants.”
—Pierre Corneille (16061684)
“Let that which stood in front go behind,
Let that which was behind advance to the front,
Let bigots, fools, unclean persons, offer new propositions,
Let the old propositions be postponed.”
—Walt Whitman (18191892)
