Sports Venues
Games will use 64 venues. 36 of them will be constructed specially for the 2013 Summer Universiade. The main venues are:
- Football stadium (45,000 seats) — Universiade Opening/Closing ceremonies stadium
- Central Stadium (26,920 seats) — football, athletics
- TatNeft Arena (10,000 seats) - Sambo, Judo
- Basket-Hall Arena (7,500 seats) — Basketball
- Saint Petersburg Volleyball Centre (4,570 seats) — volleyball
- Aquatics Palace (4,200 seats) — Swimming, Diving and Synchronised swimming events
- Tennis Academy — Tennis, Badminton
- Gymnastics Palace (3,200 seats) - Rhythmic Gymnastics, Artistic Gymnastics events
- Rowing Centre (3,000 seats) - Canoe Racing, Rowing events
