They had two players feature in the 2006 All-Star Game: Ichiro Suzuki, making his sixth appearance in the All-Star Game, and José López, with his first appearance.
Their longest winning streak was 5 games, which they managed twice, between 16–21 June 24–29 June, counterpointed by their longest losing streak of 11 games between 10–20 August.
