2006 Masters Tournament

The 2006 Masters Tournament was the 70th Masters Tournament, played April 6–9 at Augusta National Golf Club. The course was lengthened by 155 yards (142 m) before the tournament to 7,445 yards (6,808 m), up from 7,290 yards (6,666 m) in 2005. Phil Mickelson won his second Masters and second consecutive major with a 281 (–7), two strokes ahead of runner-up Tim Clark. The purse was $7.0 million and the winner's share was $1.26 million.
