The NAPA 500 was held November 16 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The #7 of Geoff Bodine won the pole at a speed of 197.478 mph (317.810 km/h), which (as of February 26, 2012) is the fastest qualifying lap ever run outside of Daytona and Talladega. The race was broadcast on ESPN.
