Famous quotes containing the words race and/or report:
“Before we shall again behold
In his diurnal race the world’s great eye,
We may as silent be and cold
As are the shades where buried lovers lie.”
—Sir William Davenant (1606–1668)
“Will you see the players well bestowed? Do you hear, let them
be well used, for they are the abstracts and brief chronicles of the time. After your death you were better have a bad epitaph than their ill report while you live.”
—William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
