The 1957 Davis Cup was the 46th edition of the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. 36 teams would enter the competition, 24 in the Europe Zone, 7 in the Americas Zone, and 5 in the Eastern Zone.
The United States defeated Brazil in the Americas Zone final, the Philippines defeated Japan in the Eastern Zone final, and Belgium defeated Italy in the Europe Zone final. In the Inter-Zonal Zone, the USA defeated the Philippines, and then defeated Belgium. The USA then fell to defending champions Australia in the Challenge Round. The final was played at Kooyong Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on 26–28 December.
