0DFx - Guest Appearances

Guest Appearances

0DFx appeared on the Ohio-based punk rock compilation, The New Hope and on the nationally released P.E.A.C.E./War compilation, which has remained in print since 1983. But they are most notable for their role as a precursor to Brad Warner's book, Hardcore Zen, as well as for Tommy "Strange" Seiler's later bands, the Ragged Bags, Strawman and Songs For Emma.

Famous quotes containing the words guest and/or appearances:

Somebody said that it couldn’t be done,
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
    —Edgar Albert Guest (1881–1959)

What I often forget about students, especially undergraduates, is that surface appearances are misleading. Most of them are at base as conventional as Presbyterian deacons.
    Muriel Beadle (b. 1915)
