Vatan

Vatan ("Homeland" or "Motherland") is a Turkish daily newspaper founded in 2002. On October 6, 1980, the Karacan family relinquished the paper to Aydın Doğan, the foremost media mogul in Turkey. The paper was purchased by DK (Demirören & Karacan) Corporation on April 2011. As of March 2011, Vatan had the 15th highest circulation in Turkey at 111,489.
