Research
University of Turku has been involved in many research projects in the Peruvian Amazon. With the Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (Instituto de Investigaciones de la AmazonÃa Peruana - IIAP), based in Iquitos, has been studying the Amazon in the BIODAMAZ Project.
