Fight Song

UNO Fight

We will fight, fight, fight for our Mavericks, We will fight, fight, fight for our team. Everyone knows when that old whistle blows, We will shout, we will yell, we will scream. GO MAVS! We will fight, fight, fight for our Mavericks, we will cheer so all fans will know. Be it win or lose or draw, Everyone for Omaha, We will fight for U-N-O.

Composer, Dr. James Saker

Famous quotes containing the words fight and/or song:

“Others indeed may talk, and write, and fight about liberty, and make an outward pretence to it; but the free-thinker alone is truly free.”
—George Berkeley (1685–1753)

“Deep in the sun-searched growths the dragonfly
Hangs like a blue thread loosened from the sky—
So this winged hour is dropped to us from above.
Oh! clasp we to our hearts, for deathless dower,
This close-companioned inarticulate hour
When twofold silence was the song of love.”
—Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828–1882)
