Uniform of The Commander-in-Chief

The Commander-in-Chief of the Canadian Forces may choose to wear the relevant Canadian Forces uniform which consists of:

  • A general officer's uniform of any of the three environments
  • A flag or general officer's hat badge
  • A flag or general officer's sleeve braid embellished with the crest of the Royal Arms of Canada
  • The crest of the Royal Arms of Canada embroidered on the shoulder straps or shoulder boards
  • Various orders and decorations as applicable
