But the country has species of wolf, wild donkeys, cranes, vultures, hawks, geese, snakes, and buffalo. One of the most interesting animals is a high altitude Jumping Spider. This spider can live at over 6500 meters elevation .

Famous quotes containing the words animal, plant and/or life:

The animal is one with its life activity. It does not distinguish the activity from itself. It is its activity. But man makes his life activity itself an object of his will and consciousness. He has a conscious life activity. It is not a determination with which he is completely identified.
    Karl Marx (1818–1883)

They do not live in the world,
Are not in time and space.
    From birth to death hurled
No word do they have, not one
    To plant a foot upon,
    Were never in any place.
    Edwin Muir (1887–1959)

Boswell, when he speaks of his Life of Johnson, calls it my magnum opus, but it may more properly be called his opera, for it is truly a composition founded on a true story, in which there is a hero with a number of subordinate characters, and an alternate succession of recitative and airs of various tone and effect, all however in delightful animation.
    James Boswell (1740–1795)
